He says: " Permit me to say that the labors of the first and second days of this month closed my fourth and last quarterly meetings-for this year; and suffice it to say, that the meeting was well attended and the word was spoken with great boldness, and we trust not without good effect. I have not had as good success this year as I could have-wished ; yet I have had some success—some 60 or 70 increase, about one-half of whom have joined on probation and the balance by letter." We will not, therefore, despise the day of small things, but thank God and take courage for what He has done, and trust Him for days to come.
" I have about 100 members and probationers—eight classes; four of them were formed this year, one of which (the first formed), numbers about 18 members; the other three have just been formed, and will no doubt be enlarged on my next round.
